What is Shipping Documents Pro?
It is Windows desktop software that stores shipment information and uses that data to create common shipping and export documents.
Is ShippingPaperwork.com a carrier or customs filing service?
No. The software prepares documents and worksheets. It does not replace a carrier, customs broker, freight forwarder or government filing portal.
Where is my shipment data stored?
The desktop application is designed to store its working data locally on the Windows computer rather than requiring a hosted database account.
Can I create PDFs?
The application uses HTML/CSS previews that can be printed or saved as PDF through the Windows/Edge printing workflow.
Does it include the old NAFTA Certificate of Origin?
No. The old prescribed NAFTA certificate is obsolete. The software instead includes a flexible USMCA certification template.
Does the software file EEI/AES for me?
No. It can help organize shipment data and prepare supporting documents, but AES/EEI filing remains outside the software.
Are the free tools the same as the desktop software?
No. The free tools create one document at a time. The Windows program saves reusable data and creates multiple documents from one shipment.
