Preprinted Bill of Lading Forms Software

Need to print shipper, consignee, carrier and freight details exactly inside the boxes of your existing preprinted or carbonless Bill of Lading forms? We're evaluating a Windows printing tool for businesses that must use specific paper stock.

This is a product-interest page. Preprinted-form alignment printing is not yet included in the current Shipping Documents Pro download.

The printing problem

Use the forms you already buy, without handwriting every box.

Standard bill of lading software may create a new PDF or print a complete blank form. That's different from placing text onto a preprinted freight form whose boxes, labels and lines are already on the paper.

Many warehouses and shipping departments use multipart carbonless forms, including 3-part and 4-part sets, so one impact print can create copies for the shipper, carrier and consignee. Precise positioning matters: the shipper address cannot drift into the consignee field, and freight details need to line up with the existing columns.

Fill existing address, reference and freight fields
Save a calibration profile for each printer and form design
Reuse customer, carrier and item information
Import or paste shipment lines rather than retyping them
Print multiple identical copies or multipart stock, as supported by the printer

These are capabilities being considered, not features available in the current software.

Form and printer compatibility

Which preprinted BOL forms should we support first?

01

Continuous-feed carbonless forms

Typical pin-feed forms used with impact printers. Confirm paper dimensions, form manufacturer and printer model before development.

02

Sheet-fed preprinted BOLs

Paper with the boxes and labels already printed, where variable data needs to fit the existing layout. Compatibility depends on the specific stock.

03

Repeat freight shipments

Saved shippers, consignees, carriers and items could reduce repetitive data entry when the same shipping parties recur.

Planning the software

Help us prioritize the right forms.

Not every preprinted Bill of Lading uses the same dimensions. A printer that works perfectly with one supplier's stock may miss fields on another. The most useful first release would target a small set of exact form layouts.

Tell us the manufacturer or form number, paper size, printer model and approximate monthly volume. If possible, mention whether the form is loose-leaf or continuous feed.

Already need Bill of Lading software?

Shipping Documents Pro already prepares standard BOL paperwork and related shipping documents from reusable shipment data. It is a separate, available product.

Important: It does not currently promise printing onto preprinted carbonless stock or specific continuous-feed form layouts.

Frequently asked questions

Preprinted BOL printing questions

Can ordinary laser printers handle multi-part carbonless forms?

Many multipart carbonless form sets are intended for impact printers. Do not assume a laser or inkjet printer will produce readable copies on all layers. Check the manufacturer's form and printer specifications first.

Will it align with any preprinted Bill of Lading form?

No universal fit can be promised. Each manufacturer and paper size can use different field positions. Compatibility would be developed and tested for specific stock layouts.

Can I download this preprinted forms printer today?

Not yet. This page is collecting compatibility requests and measuring interest in a potential Windows product. The existing Shipping Documents Pro trial generates its own BOL documents but does not include this proposed printing mode.
