Dimensional Weight Calculator
Calculate DIM weight from package dimensions and a divisor you control. Compare it with actual weight to see which value is larger.
Calculate dimensional weight
Large, light packages can be rated by the space they occupy.
Dimensional weight converts package volume into a weight-like value. The formula divides length × width × height by a dimensional divisor. Because different carriers and services may use different divisors, this calculator lets you enter the divisor yourself.
DIM weight = length × width × height ÷ divisorCompare the dimensional result with actual package weight. A carrier may base charges on the larger value, subject to its current tariff and rounding rules.
